On March 29, 1960 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Robert, Jody, Judy, and especially their parents, Bob and Lavonne, joyously welcomed a new baby boy, Thomas Howard “Thom” Ward.

Thom lived at Meriden all his life except for a few years he spent in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was a student in LaGrange, graduating in 1978. Thom began cosmetology school while still in high school and graduated from the Huntley School of Cosmetology about 1980. This was his chosen career for nearly 40 years.
On February 10, 2018 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.

Thom left this world to join his father, Robert H. Ward, both sets of grandparents and beloved aunts and uncles that preceded him in death.

Thom will be forever missed by those surviving him - his mother, Lavonne Ward; brother, Robert L. Ward (Nina) of LaGrange; sisters Jody Edwards (Cody) of Cheyenne, Judy Taylor (Frank) of Florida, and Glenda Edmunds (Bill Pickerel) of Meriden; and 51 nieces and nephews.

His family will hold a service on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Frontier Chapel, LaGrange, with refreshments at the LaGrange Community Building immediately following the services. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
