Condolences

Condolence From: Lori Hart
Condolence: The phrase "he never met a stranger" is the embodiment of Bill. Even during his cancer treatment, his focus in the VA waiting room was on engaging and cheering up the folks around him. I loved hearing his stories of serving as a paramedic in Memphis as we walked the same roads there. He has been the answer to prayers of people in all of the communities he has lived as a paramedic and cardiac skills teacher. He also made me feel like the best cook ever - I will never be able to make banana pudding without seeing his grin! His BBQ sauce has no equal. I appreciate the many food gifts he has shared with us. Jam, jelly, green fried tomatoes - amazing stuff. My first memory of Bill was meeting him on a Friday as he came to pick up Victoria for lunch. The look in his eyes as she walked out the door towards him spoke of a deep love. One of the kindest, sharing and most engaging men I have ever met. He will be missed!

Condolence: Unfortunately I had not had the opportunity to meet Bill, but I know Victoria, their son, his family and all who knew and loved him are deeply saddened in his loss. Victoria, I am so very sorry and please know that you and your family are in my prayers. The picture of Bill with a sweet smile reveals a kind and loving man. May God bless his soul.

Condolence From: Ken
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family and friends. The death of a loved one can bring many tears and pain. my hope for you is that your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of times spent together. May you find comfort in God's promise of a new world where death will be no more.. “He wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Condolence From: Jennifer Burns
Condolence: Bill was loved for his charm and outgoing personality by all the staff at WSBN. He visited us at the office often and brought us treats on many occasions.

I will always remember him when we dine on his favorite meal; rocky mountain oysters with white gravy and when I check my chickens for "banger" chicks. You taught me well Bill. I don't think I will ever meet a more gentle and humble soul of a man.

Our hearts are breaking with the loss of you here on earth but I look forward to seeing you again in heaven. Rest in Peace
