Obituary for Sarah M. Robinson

Sarah May Robinson, 94, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully August 9, 2018 in the shade of the tree in front of her home surrounded by loved ones.

Sarah was born April 30, 1924 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and married as a senior in high school. She lived an amazing life and had many amazing stories she loved to share.

Sarah was a child of the Great Depression and worked as one of the famed "Rosie the Riveter’s" building bombers during WWII. While raising her family, she worked for many years managing Kiddie Land and then, much to her enjoyment, went on to manage Tom's Garden Spot. In retirement, she was an avid quilter and member of the Heritage Quilters. Sarah was loved and adored by all who came to know her. She always had a smile and a hug waiting and there was nothing that she wouldn't do to help you.

Sarah was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and John Schutte; siblings, Bud Schutte, Ruth Pope and Ezetta Fox; husband, Cleo Robinson; son, Larry Robinson; and granddaughter, Kershanda Robinson.

She is remembered by her sons, Leo (Dianne) Robinson and Elmer Robinson; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A memory service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment service will be held at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
