Robert “Bob” C. Mathews, Sr., 94, of Cheyenne passed away September 2, 2018 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 16, 1924 in Dundee County, NE to Charles and Ruth Mathews. He married Eloise Marshall on June 21, 1947 in Kuna, ID. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Marine Corps.
He was an electrical contractor, owning Webb Johnson Electric.

He is survived by his son, Robert “Bob” (Debbie) Mathews, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Mathews of Santa Monica, CA; grandchildren, Amy (Joel) Amsterdam, Andrew (Heather) Nation, Robert C. (Erica) Mathews, III and Lori (Aaron) Wagner; great-grandchildren, Andra Wagner, Allie Wagner, Robert C. Mathews, IV, Owen Mathews and Isaac Amsterdam.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eloise and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be Friday 1:00 -7:00 p.m. with funeral services Saturday 4:30 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Park with Military Honors.

Those who wish may contribute to the Speech and Language Clinic for Children at the Cheyenne Masonic Lodge.
