Condolences & Tributes

We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Robert. All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.

Bob was good neighbor there in Middle Mountain Estates. My husband, Bob, particularly enjoyed his conversations with Bob, Sr. They shared a love of the Snowy Range and its wildlife; now their spirits are free to roam again. May he rest in peace.

Dear Bobby & Debbie..I am Gweneth Bennett's oldest daughter, Gweneth. My daughters and I were visiting my parents, Charlie and Gweneth the summer Bobby and Debbie stopped on the way from their honeymoon! Oh, how Mama loved her baby brother..there were several years between them and she cared for him like he was her own! She loved him as long as she had breathe. When Mama passed away in 1997 I flew from Dayton Ohio and had a lay over in Denver. I knew Uncle Bob was also going to attend. While waiting for the next flight I sat at the gate waiting..I looked over and saw this distinguished Gentle man wearing a ball cap with a Marine emblem..I knew it had to be Uncle Bob. What a joyous time we had and made our sad trip to Kuna more bearable. May the Lord bless you all..Sweet memories are a sweet gift from the Lord.

We sincerely would have loved knowing such an inspiring person and can only imagine the pain his passing causes those who were privileged to love him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to each of you. Please be assured of Jehovah God’s enduring love for you, his concern for your well-being, and his willingness to help you endure this difficult time. (1 Peter 5:7) We pray that God’s promise at Revelation 21:4 will offer you comfort in the days to come.

My most sincere condolences to Bob's family. He was a great guy - one of a kind. We first met in the 1970s when he was an electrical contractor & I was with an architectural firm. We had some really good projects together. It was a real pleasure to work with him. He was very personable, really smart & a top-notch professional. The last time I saw Bob was a dozen years ago or so at Carey Junior High where my granddaughter was participating in a musical event. As I recall Bob was living out of town (Saratoga?) at the time & was back in Cheyenne visiting family. He hadn't changed a bit - same friendly, outgoing person. Bob was one of the good guys - one of the best.

Mr. Mathews and family,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I have very fond memories of going to Hawaii with him and our orchestra family in 2006. My grandfather found a kindred spirit in your Dad during that trip.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
