Obituary for Louise M. Waters

Louise M. Waters, 77, of Cheyenne passed away October 21, 2018 at Davis Hospice Center.

She was born October 10, 1941 in the San Francisco Bay area of California to George and Gertrude Loeffert. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Tooke of Yachats, OR; step-brother, Martin Cuduck of Oakland, Ca and her close friend, Richard Birdsley of Cheyenne.

She was preceded by her parents; husband, Noel Waters and a sister, Jean Loeffert Barker.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home and private family services will be held.

I got to know Louise while taking care of Noel till His death. I ran in to Louise a couple of years ago and it was good to catch up with her. She was a bright light ands will be missed by all she touched.

I hadn't seen or spoke with Louise in several years, but thought about her often. She was a great lady!

It has been a delight getting to know Louise this past 8 months as the Granite Canon Environmental Committee worked together against the Quarry. Having been a part-time neighbor for almost 35 years, we have many memories of Louise; she and Alex chasing sheep over the countryside stands out! When we arrived, she shared many good stories on the history of our area. We visited her in the hospital the day before she left this life, and we will keep that memory for many years to come. Louise will be truly missed. She had a beautiful spirit, and a caring heart. I feel blessed that I was able to visit with her during her last several weeks of life.
