Mary F. King, 83, of Cheyenne passed away November 6, 2018 in Cheyenne.

She was born August 24, 1935 in Murrayville, Illinois to Homer and Mildred Davidsmeyer. She married Elmer King on December 26, 1954 in Murrayville Illinois. She was a homemaker and was a member of Golden Chapter #123, Order of Eastern Star, having served as Worthy Matron.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer King of Cheyenne; children, Mary Cook of Cheyenne, Jeanne Anderson of Littleton, CO, Joseph (Cindy) King of Golden, CO, Jerry (BJ) King of Granby, CO and Gail (Robert) Thomas of Conifer, CO; brother, Jim (Donna) Davidsmeyer of Pittsfield, Illinois; sister-in-law Betty Davidsmeyer of Murrayville, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Davidsmeyer.

Those who wish may contribute to Shriner’s Hospital for Children or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Private graveside services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park. Services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
