Daniel J. Pry, 90, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at the Davis Hospice Center on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
Mr. Pry was born July 21, 1925, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Theodore and Pearl (Janas) Pry.
Daniel served honorably in the United State Army during World War II. He owned and operated a ranch in Northern Laramie County for 60 years, while also serving as the Assistant Director of Wyoming Department of Workers’ Compensation. He was also a parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Daniel is survived by three sons, James Pry of Evansville, IN, Dr. Richard Pry of Ft. Myers, FL, and Mark Pry and wife, Bernadette, of Springfield, MO; and five grandchildren, Anna, Cody, Aimee, Austin, and Alicia
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary A. Pry on November 15, 2009; and a brother, son, and grandson
Visitation will be held on Sunday from noon to 3:00 p.m. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Father August Koeune as celebrant. An interment service will follow at Olivet Cemetery.
