Donland Gene Greer, 89 of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2015.

Donland was born in Bethel, Kansas, on December 20, 1925, to Clarence Greer and Martha Tretter Greer. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the United States Army. He married Maud Garver and they had four children, Kirkland Greer, Cindy Greer, Ginny Greer and Kendal Greer. He loved the spirit of children, family, horses, building homes, and the turning of the trees on Fall River Road in autumn.

Donland is survived by three children, Cindy Greer of New York City, NY, Ginny Brown of Littleton, CO, and Kendal Greer of Aurora, CO; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kirkland Greer.

A memory service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
