Gladys I. Breed, 87, of Windsor, Colorado, formerly Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at MorningStar Assisted Living and Memory Care in Ft. Collins, CO.

Gladys was born January 12, 1929, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a daughter of the late David A. and Matilda M. (Bollin) Johnson.

Gladys married Paul D. Breed on May 3, 1947, celebrating 63 years of marriage before his passing. Her work experience including W.R.O., The Hitching Post, bookkeeping at Dorr Accounting, and ultimately retiring from the Wyoming Game & Fish Department. Her many interests included making crafts for her grandchildren, fishing, and attending Frontier Days. She will be remembered as a prankster who had a wonderful sense of humor. She also enjoyed family gatherings where she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and she loved to care for her dog, Daisy.

Gladys is survived by three children, Glenn Breed of Washington, DC, Judy Geer and husband, Terry, of Gillette, WY, and Jerry Breed and wife, Diane, of Windsor, CO; brother, Larry Johnson and wife, Ann; seven grandchildren, Stefannie, Shay, Tavy, Donald, David, Orion and Kristin; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Paul D. Breed; sister, Marian Campbell; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A memory service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment service will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
