Condolence: I lived in Cheyenne from 1984-1987. I am currently visiting Cheyenne and went “looking around” in my past online and found John’s obituary. I was his and Frank Smith’s secretary for 2.5 years, when the office first moved from an old building into offices on Pioneer where we shared office space with Ross & Ross. John always made me laugh out loud with his personality, dry wit, and sometimes crankiness 🙂. They gave me my first real “legal experience “ and I have stayed in the legal field to this day. I am sure your memories bring you great comfort 💙

Condolence From: Pat Newbern
Condolence: Dear Tricia, Suzanne, Kathleen and your dear families,
I was saddened to hear of your father's passing and wanted to share my deep condolences. Many years have passed since H.S. rodeo years and continued equine competitions, but how I remember both your father & mother's support of each of you in the equine world. Your folks were great people and also friends of my mother and daddy as well (Bill and Alice Roshek, Casper, WY). I truly share in the sadness of losing your loved parents, but smile in memories as they were out there cheering each of you on... Sending love during this time of deep sadness for each of you and your families. Pat (Roshek) Newbern, Granite Canon, WY.

Condolence: We were so shocked and saddened by John's death. We have enjoyed our time with him at breakfast every Sunday at the various service organizations--knowing that John always wanted to go to the VFW because he liked the bacon & eggs, hash browns with gravy or green chili on them, and toast. He was a true gentleman. We enjoyed his stories about Frontier Days, his days in the service and his love for his wife and girls. His sense of humor was always evident in these stories and kept us entertained. We shall truly miss him. The breakfast get together will be lonely without him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
