I would just like to echo my brother Pat's thoughts in giving our condolences to Betty's family and wishing Betty a Happy 85th Birthday, today, June 30, 2016. Pat and I were fortunate enough to meet Betty for the first and only time on January 13th, 2016 when she reached out for our help for Johnny and Charlie, her pet dogs. When we returned Johnny and Charlie from the groomer that day, Betty offered us a $50 check for our help, but I refused to accept it. I told her that any friend of our Mom was a friend of ours. Betty had mentioned how she went out of her way to meet our Mom at the Seventh Day Adventist Church when our Mom was new to the church. Mom often mentioned her phone conversations with Betty to Pat and me. Pat and I are so sorry to find out about Betty's passing only a few short months after meeting her. May God bless her soul. I'm sure our beloved Mother has already given her a hug. You will not be forgotten, Betty.
